or a billy goat wanting to get rid of his beard

I'd like to give making my own knot a shot. Maybe get some samples of badger bunches from Alibaba and have at er.
I did not care for the Grosvenor brush at all, but the Semogue Mistura, also a mixed badger/boar is awesome and remains one of my favorite brushes. For that reason alone, I believe that it is possible to make a mixed hair brush that works well and it is a lofty (semi-inadvertant pun) goal.
I cannot imagine 'tying' a knot. Anyone have a video on how it is done? I suppose modern ones are bundled somehow and the plug is injected in somehow. Has to be super tight, I would think.
Here you go. Straight from the Simpson factory.

Tom, I knew they were bundled together & if you buy the knots only they are glued to the size knot hole they are made for but in the video's Harry sent, it looks like they are gluing them together then the last one shows her gluing them in the handles. TGN has probably the finest knots you can buy but they are pricey!
Interesting, Andrew! That glue they use must be quite slow-drying. Hard to imagine accomplishing that without getting the glue everywhere.
Expert work!
