Well in the walnut the knot is set 15mm in the handle and the loft is 51mm. The base of the knot was glued before with epoxy.

Seting the knot in the rubberset was a bit more tricky. I glued the base of the knot at 24mm wide and wraped the knot in paper and puled it up from the lover side than i removed the paper. I snaped the strings after i set the knot to 49mm loft i think that the knot is something like 17mm in the handle. The hear of the knot spread an fixed the knot in place than i took some slow drying epoxy and glued the botom part to the handle.
