Camp clan on my Grandmother's side. The rest of me is German. Can I have a 1/4 mug of green beer? :)
Bit more work on my jig project. Brought it home to try to incorporate onto the lathe to avoid all the questions at work..

Started with a better indexer I made out of garloc gasket material
Then beefed up the jig itself and mounted it on a 3/4" block of machine steel and mounted it all on the lathe bed on my cross vice.

Can try it on nicer materials next while I wait for my knots to arrive from Germany..
Cheers.
Awesome! :tu
Good job MikeB52. Obviously you are a guy who figures things out for himself, I like that. A few years ago I apprenticed a young guy in my machine shop to prep him for machining trade school. This kid thrived on what ever weird problem I threw at him. Long story short, when he went to trade school, he finished two semesters of projects in one semester. He just got married last year, expecting his first child, and is working in a shop machining experimental rocket engine parts. Unfortunately for me the kid's job took him out of state.
Yo Tommy, what does the 'chump' part of your sig line mean?
Lookin good Mike.....get it on.[emoji482]
