Default Removing a knot and resetting it

I had reknotted this brush handle with a TGN Finest 2 band but I set the loft too high for my liking. It was too floppy for my liking. The knot was glued in with 5 minute 2 part epoxy. I decided to do something about it today and steamed the knot out. It did not damage whatever the knot was held together with and clean up was easy. I drilled the hole 4mm deeper and the loft is now 46mm. This is how it looks before I glue the knot in place. Fingers crossed that I got it right the second time around.

    This is the knot before.

Here is a link to the original reknot post for this brush.
