One more coat of oil ought to do it but the tone of the wood is really starting to come out.

TC, you have some awesome brushes. See some pixelfixed and some walleyeman there if I'm not mistaken. Most envious brother. Couple of very skilled turners there..
So consensus on the big brushes seems clear that it'll be too big, but I look forward to testing it out myself. Using up more soap is not a hardship in the pursuit of the full face lather. Lol..

Did that Yew drive you crazy? The grain can pull a bit in it and make you loose your patience. They are looking pretty darn sweet. I have no experience with brushes that big but I just imagine how big they will bloom. Should be fun to play around with.
