Thread: Just started making some brushes...

Hi all after a few months of trying to perfect resin casting, spending more money than my wife needs to know about On lathes, chucks (god the attachments are expensive) and pressure pots/ compressors etc I have finally started to produce some shaving brushes and have been enjoying it thoroughly!!.
I have tried polyester and epoxy resins but they are as almost as delicate as glass, one drop on the bathroom floor and they crack or shatter So have decided to go with alumilite which is bloody expensive compared to other resins but does not shatter when coming in unison with a nice bathroom tiled floor!!
