Stacked/glued cocobolo for brushes?

Hello all.

Today I moved a bunch of wood from my home in Minnesota to my future home in Wisconsin. I found that I have a large amount of end cuts Cocobolo wood.
Some of the pieces are tapered from top to bottom or from one end to the other. I was wondering if I could glue a bunch of them together to a thickness that would be useful for a shaving brush or would the glue lines show to much?

I realize that they would have to be sanded very flat.

Found my answer. Use G2 Epoxy available from LeeValley. Made for high oil woods.

Thanks for sharing this! I wonder if instead of stacking all of the cocobolo on top of one another maybe gluing the cocobolo in with other woods as an accent would make the most of its grains and colour.

Hey! Ive seen that one somewhere before. I think the special glue will help Randy as that stuff is really oily. This is why I havent tried to turn any just yet. I love the look of it. And stacking only one type of wood? It would make for a larger piece and if the grain was all going the same way, why not.

The sanding is key! But i seen a vid saying not to cla.p too damn tight as you will squeeze all the glue out. Not to sure about that one but thought Id mension it.
