    Been awhile since I made a brush but when I picked up this horse hair knot at Maggards meet up I had to Try it again.

    Love it. White bristles are a nice contrast to the handle. What is the handle made of?

    It's bowling ball urethane as shown here! The picture really doesn't do it justice. Not sure if i'm going to like the horse hair knot though. I need to set it deeper and try it again. (It's only glued in temporary with a couple drops of hotmelt.)

    After rereading your origional post I had the thought that could you sand and glue the curved pieces together?

    You would only have to flatten the bottom one and not completely.

    Might be an interesting pattern when viewed from the side.

    Just thinking out loud again!
