    Default Scrapper

I'm calling this one Scrapper since it is made up of scrapes. the body is made of a small piece of alumilite Red,brown, blue, gold and sweetgum pods. the cap is a piece of walnut and the base I think might be some elm but I really don't know.

Looks like it came out pretty good. I like the look of the sweet gum pods.

I like it also. I just wish more of them showed through.

This ended up as a gift from my daughter to my son-in-law. He saw the brush and keep telling my daughter how much he liked it. So you know she asked me to make him one!! But since I like the Idea of no two brushes being alike. I gave her this one and since he worships the ground she walks on I made some accessories to go with it.

Very nice. Now if you can just get him using a straight.

Seriously though, that would make interesting scales if you could get it that thin.

I agree Paul, would make really purty scales.

    Thanks for the kind words!!
Getting him to use a straight won't happen. he was present when I had a 7 stich accident.

The sweetgum pods are the weak point so I don't think thy will make good scales without a liner of some sort. I think brass would look off with it maybe some G10 I have a pen blank that I could rip down but it is a bit short at 5". I am not pouring my own resin so making one longer is a no go. but I might have a small razor that 5" may work on.
