Another Brush Restore
I always admired these Rubberset Aluminum brushes and I finally got one on the cheap(that's me).It had some really bad bristles.Got those out and epoxyed in a 26mm silvertip.I like it a lot,it's a lot longer than the others I've restored and gets my knuckles out of the lather.

I love the handle!!
Uber bristles man. If you go into barbering you could use that as a neck duster.
How did you get the knot out without disfiguring the handle?

The top cap unscrews.I just cut off the old bristles, flipped the cap over, drilled a lot of holes in the old epoxy(with a drill-press),then cracked the epoxy left between the drilled holes with a screwdriver.

Thanks, guys.Just wanted to show the newer members that you can get a nice badger brush without breaking the bank, and still use the vintage style of these old brush handles.

That's a great looking handle. Off to the bay...
