Man, that is a seriously cool brush stand!
WRT the cheap plastic stands, they always used to annoy the hell out of me because the brush has a tendency to fall out of the stand, and the back of the stand also squashes the bristles flat on that side... anyway, a couple of years ago I found that resting the brush at angle on the top of the stand seems to work perfectly - the brush doesn't fall, its shape doesn't get deformed, and larger knots can be accommodated. Try it out and let me know what you think!

Hi PF.
If you point your first two fingers upward and then crook them, that would make a perfect vertical "Y" brush holder with the brush held between the first and second knuckles from the tip or palm. The moveable fingers could be spring loaded at center, fit most anything! My brushes seem to be from 10mm to 30mm. Gues that I shall have to try the idea when I get this job out the door! More fun!!!

What I plan on doing Richard is to ream the guide pins holes oversize so the outer pce sort of toggles,that will allow I think two diff, size brushes,maybe make them oblong.
Problem is I cannot find my starrett Oblong reamers
I think they are in the box with My brown & sharp woodstretchers,just have to find them

Well,In my never ending quest to create complex solutions for simple (or non) problems.
I have created the Ukrainian model brush drying unit (No offense Komrads,I are one)
Simple,Robust,will secure any brush from the wee scott to the largest in my collection.
Yet still maintaining a Germanesk industrial look.

A proper brush drying unit should be adjustable for all brushes,It should have springs and guide pins and be strong like bull,Don't you think)
