Thread: SRP December 2013 Photo Contest (is now closed)

HELLO ALL!!! BIRNANDO AND I, STR8RAZOR, ARE GOING TO CHALLENGE YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS BY HAVING A CONTEST FOR A RAZOR THAT BIRNANDO DONATED PLUS TWO MORE ITEMS LISTED BELOW.

The rules are pretty simple. All you need to do is make a photograph of your decorative array of some of your shaving items. For example:

After taking the photo save it to your computer as a .jpg file. The desktop is a good place to save the photo as this will be an easier place to recover the photo. Then go to the contest thread and click on the last page and then scroll to the bottom of that page and click on REPLY TO THREAD then click on GO ADVANCED scroll down to ATTACHMENTS and then click on MANAGE ATTACHMENTS. When the File Upload Manager appears go to the upper right hand corner and click on ADD FILES then click on SELECT FILES. This will open your Windows Explorer where your files are stored. Find where you saved your photo, such as the desktop, and then click on that file and then click OPEN at the bottom of that page. After doing that click on UPLOAD FILES and this will send the photo to your post. You will then need to type a ten word message so that the post will actually post.
Birnando and I will be judging this contest. We will judge on originality, creativeness, beauty, arrangement and just general appearance. As usual keep it clean. The rules for the monthly giveaways, pertaining to posts, will not apply here so basically any member can post a photo. That also means Admin, Mods and any other staff of SRP except me and Birnando, darn it. This was approved by Lynn and Gugi. So, everyone have fun and good luck.

ALL CONTESTANTS CAN SEND IN A MAXIMUM OF THREE (3) PHOTOS.


THIS CONTEST WILL START AT 12:01 AM EST DECEMBER 1, 2013 AND WILL FINISH AT 11:59 PM DECEMBER 15, 2013. ON DECEMBER 16 - 17, 2013 BIRNANDO AND I WILL CHOOSE THE WINNER AND THEN INFORM THEM VIA SRP POST AND EMAIL.


THE PRIZE: The razor was donated by Birnando and it is a shave ready Max Sprecher 8/8 half hollow, satin finished blade with orange colored G10 scales. The other items offered in this contest are a pair of Naniwa 5000 & 8000 grit SUPER STONES w/ Stands donated by Ketsco101, a complete set of The Bluebeards Revenge shaving kit which has in it a shavette, shaving cream, a brush and post shave balm donated by the people that make The Bluebeards Revenge.
