A friend stopped over tonight for a visit and when I showed him the the razor he said that he thought they were very neat and was interested in trying one. Shaving a little arm hair he was impressed.

Long story short I hope that no one is mad at me but I already gave it away.

I added an old strop that will be good for practice and maybe we have another convert......

Good for you Tim. That's why we do this. You won it! It's yours to do what you feel is right. I don't think anyone would be unhappy with the idea of it going to possibly bring another one of us into the fold!

He is in my neighborhood and has been my mushroom mentor. Growing Shiitakes,Lions mane, and harvesting wild ones.

If our rolls can be reversed with shaving that would be neat.

With the old strop and a short lesson along with his personality, I told him when you mess up the edge come over for a visit and we will hone it again.

I have a feeling he will pick it up quick once he puts his mind to it!

I borrowed my friend a 4/8k Norton and he has since bought his own. His was used and after we lapped it last night I borrowed him my PHIG.

This giveaway certainly served its purpose and got another gentleman interested in straights!
