Dramatically ! i can take a shot of my wife's drawer space versus the rest of the fam . quite scary as I tend to try and dress more dapper then her but all I have is one pair shorts one pair pants and three shirts . her ? she fills two dresser drawers on vacation me only half of one !

I can say that I've never encountered that either.

I'm just happy i married a minimalist. We have a studio apartment with a bed and 3 wooden chairs. And she hates shopping. And when we travel she carries a bag the size of some women's purse.

Sure I had to sift through terrible GFs to find her. But i did. And i couldn't be happier. ....though she has asked how many razors i plan on getting... uh oh....

I will say that my wife does over pack alot, though I do tent to under pack as well. I have gone on vacation with only what ever I was wearing at the time. But I do love shopping so it all works out in the end, as I get to buy all new stuff

When I met my wife we traveled rather extensively. It was great. I carried that what I thought was necessary, she carried what she thought necessary. Interestingly, her bags or bag wasn't all that much bigger than mine. I fell in love.

Then we had kids... My minimalist approach turned into an opportunity for her to turn me and my minimalism into extra space for her and her excess. She now calls me Sherpa... and laughs as she does so. Arg.

To her credit. I'll say this. When one of the kids is having a melt-down and needs toy number whatever - poof, it appears.
