While eating dinner tonight and watching a TV program about a Michigan Veterinarian named Dr. Pol, up came a sequence that had me stop chewing while watching. His assistant vet, a woman, was in a farmers barn working on a cow with one of her stomachs out of place, on the right side. Apparently, if on the left side they roll the cow on it's back and stitch the stomach back in place right thru the hide. For the right side she had to operate and reach in and move it in place and then suture it. But what got me pausing in chewing was that she followed good surgical procedures and shaved the area to cut in WITH A STRAiGHT RAZOR, and with decent skill on top of it.

Anybody out there have other unusual uses for a str8?
