I am saddened to hear this news. He was a great author and military tactics expert.

He wrote a lot of great books to be sure. I didn't like the stories he wrote in series, like the op-center ones. They were all a bit same-ish and one dimensional. The full length novels though, they were very good. I especially like the cold war ones.

RIP Clancy, you will be missed. Thankfully you wrote so many books I may meet ya up there before I finish them all. God knows I've had ghost recon sitting on my night stand for the past 11 months.

RIP Mr. Clancy. You never wrote a book I did not enjoy and many were enjoyed more than once.

I've been reading Tom Clancy novels for a long time, his technical knowledge and descriptions are unmatched and will be missed. My Dad was a big fan, too.

    RIP Tom
