Holland's got talent you HAVE to see this
This kid is 9 years old.
Never had singing lessons.
Just searched online for a song to sing during queen's day because her brother also performed something (violin).
And this is the result. Mindnumbingly beautiful.
I nearly cried when she started singing.

Yes, this is quite big in South Africa. The girl's mother is South African, and the local radio station actually had an interview with the granny (about 60miles from where I live). She said that she was extremely proud of her grand daughter.
And all that the judges said was "niet te gelowe", it means "it is unbelievable"!

I'm amazed that one of the judges didn't walk over to her while she was singing just to make sure it wasn't a hoax. That was incredible. I don't know what a golden ticket is but she certainly deserved something unusual.
Keep your concentration high and your angles low!
Despite the high cost of living, it's still very popular.

Golden ticket means she gets a direct pass to the live shows, whereas the normal contestants who get the vote of approval still need to survive one or 2 other rounds where the merely 'ok' or 'good' ones are eliminated so that only the 'really good' ones remain. this is only granted on very special occasions.

IMHO the award of the "Golden Ticket" was well warranted in her case.
