To all lefties out there, I have started a group for us. It's called "lefties only -no wrong handers ok".
If you really are ambidexterous then we will consider you.
It's just out of a silly comment on a thread that I started it. :)

I would give my right arm to be ambidextrous!
Left handers are of a right mind
I'm a lefty. But I use right-handed razors.
Hmmm, you may have to send your razors to my workshop to have them lefthandeded. But you are welcome to join as you were honest. :)
I don't know it I'm right or left handed, have to check in the mirror next time I shave...
I will be honest here, I think this sort of thing is why kids get their left and right mixed up.
My daughter used to know her left and right pretty well, then she started getting them confused, I believe it is from going to kids concerts and watching kids shows where the host says "put your right hand up", the presenter then raises their right hand. What do kids do when they copy, they mirror so all the kids put their left hands up. Grrrrrr.
I think imogen has relearned right and left now though.
I'm a lefty! Nothing is made for us!
Har har.
I used to do my stint as instructor and when I worked with the trainees part of their exam (law enforcement work) was to take statements and testimony from folks acting the part of the bad guy. When I played the bad guy and they asked me to raise my right hand to take the Jurad I would always raise my left hand. Few realized it and of course all their work was worthless and they flunked the exercise.
I write with my right hand but eat with my left. I can juggle 2 balls with a single hand, either right of left. Does this mean I'm ambi, or these are simply feats that I've taught myself?
Ed, I am joining despite anything you may say. I am ambidextrous but in all honesty I am at the same time only left handed or only right handed. I often find myself just using one hand to do everything, ignoring the other hand. Everything except write, can only do that with my right hand. Maybe I should start a thread for "'Other handedness People'.
What qualifies someone as being left-handed? I write with my right hand, bowl, play racquetball & tennis right handed, shoot right hand, play basketball right hand. But I throw left-handed, kick with my left foot, golf left. Both hands to shave ,eat, and throw darts. What am I?
I write, eat, shoot, and shave left handed. Everything else is just whatever feels natural. Usually with sports its different each day especially soccer/football/anything to do with my feet. Bowling I suck at no matter which hand I use.
Left-handers are funnier.
i would like to join this group. Lefty here! Curse binders and note book's, Evil! Especically the dreaded.....smear of ink or graphite on the edge of my hand! evil!
Anyone got a lefty kamisori?
I know there is Japanese kitchen knives for lefties, rarer and usually way more expensive.
Also way harder to sharpen them for me as a right handed guy!
This thread is long overdue. Perhaps we can pool our collective buying power for a group buy on left-handed strops.
I revel in going through salad bars and leaving the handles on serving implements pointed to the left.
Considering everyones enthusiasm, there are still only 3 members, don't be scared we won't hurt you.:)
OK, I timed my self, both hands are equal. You have to take my word for it. Please send membership certificate.
Left eye dominant ;).
I can write left handed...Sort of...But I have to consider myself right hand dominant even if I do do a lot of things left handed. I swap as the need arises and use which ever hand is convenient, but I do things better with the right.

I am a leftie, I hated it growing up. I rather enjoy it now. I was hoping one of my boys would be a leftie but alas, they're righties. I do a lot of things right handed for example I shoot a rifle right handed, hand gun left. I think all lefties are ambidextrous to one degree or another. I am in!
It is so much fun to vex Ed. I'm afraid he is getting serious on us. And MisterMoo, he edited my statement to fit his own agenda. he's an agitator of the first degree. In the old, old days he'd be called a Union Organizer and a Commie Sympathizer. All we call him these days is Aussie (to be).
Oh come on now, that was a bit harsh, keep going like that and you'll be of the Christmas list :)
I was never on one. Wrong holiday. As a matter of fact, it would be the wrong holiday no matter what.

Famous Left Handed People
"Finally some of the most famous left handed people from yesteryear, are without doubt some of the greatest and influential individuals who have ever lived. The likes of Horatio Nelson; Leonardo Da Vinci; Michelangelo; Pablo Picasso; Julius Caesar; Wolfgang Amedeus Mozart; Ludwig Van Beethoven; Winston Churchill; Napoleon Bonaparte - and Josephine; Queen Victoria; Alexander the Great; Joan of Arc; Marie Curie and last but certainly not least, Albert Einstein. They all had one predominant feature in common with each other - they were all left handed! It is worth noting that Einstein learned to speak late, had problems in almost every subject in school and was frequently labelled as being backwards! So there is certainly no need for any left-hander to have an inferiority complex!"
