I bought a new Smith and Wesson, and it has been having problems since day one. They are too numerous to say here, suffice to say that it took an entire page minus three lines at number 12 Font to tell what the problem was to smiths' smith. So I live about an hour and a half from their Springfield facility, which is where they do the warranty repairs. I cannot bring it directly to them. They are making me ship it FedEx, but at least they are paying for the shipping. Stupid, but I understand, here is where it really starts to grind my gears. Most FedEx facilities cannot ship firearms, and they won't insure it if you do not the declare verbally that it is a firearm you are shipping. The nearest FedEx that will ship it is approximately 4 hours away, & I have to drive through Springfield past the smith and Wesson factory to ship it. Here is where it gets really stupid, I checked the shipping today which is 2 day shipping by the way, and 3 days after I shipped it, it is in New Jersey? WTF? How does FedEx botch things up this badly? anyways, thank you for listening to my rant. Has anyone else had this kind of horrible service happened to them?
