Getting up at "O-Dark thirty was for my youth and jobs...Not for my straggle butt dragging container at this time.
I watched a weasel chase a chipmunk in upstate New York. First they were running over an old rock wall, the weasel looking like a sine wave over the uneven surface. The chipmunk jumped off the wall (couple of feet in human terms) and climbed up a tall tree. The weasel gave chase up the tree. The chipmunk went out on a horizontal limb about two stories up and the weasel was within a few feet of him. Then the chipmunk jumped! It spread out all four feet and landed in the leaf litter. The weasel slinked back down the tree, foiled. I went to where the chipmunk would have landed and it made the jump. Did the chipmunk know what it was doing or was the jump just an act of desperation?
I'm have difficulty photographing metal.
I also have difficulty reading science fiction and historical fiction (for exactly the same reason).
I can make light any time I want.
