Hang on, I gotta go to the Library of Congress tomorrow to check the rule book.

I just spent the past 5 hours reading every post in this thread and I have to say I don't understand any of it. I suppose the point is to go off topic and try to hijack the thread?
We should start a necro-post anonymous thread. Everyone would have to wait at least 6 months to make the next post...
James.
Well as Ed said when he started this thread;
I wouldn't actually call it Intentionally Hijacking the Tread; I look at it as a way to just post what's on your mind, or perhaps post a little mischief.
Well I'm off to finish fixing my seafood soup for my supper.
:w
It was supposed to be a home for homeless posts, after I got in trouble a few times for going off topic with a few other members.
To read from the start it is probably a bit like listening to a dozen old, deaf, slightly bonkers people trying to have a conversation without their hearing aids or medication.
Ed, I believe that you 'may' be talking about these folks.

I have just checked, and from what I can see this is the 6th most replied to thread (7th if you count one sticky).
Strangely, by far the most popular thread is pipe of the day having over 11,000 replies, or roughly 4 times that of the next 5 most popular threads (excluding the sticky, which has about 5,500 replies)
No topic among friends is much preferred over a topic amongst backstabbers, badmouths, ingrates, wannabes, clueless and ill purposed people.
I am curious as to where the "Quip" thread rates on the list and how fast it's moving up the ranks but don't have the time to investigate it. I bet the SOTD is up there too if it weren't for Max starting a new one each week.
