I have sat on one jury. Pretty agreeable to all of us. I did get a good free meal out of it though!
I've only gotten one jury summons. It was for a higher level court that was over a hundred miles away and the trial was expected to last more than a month. For those reason I with regret filled out the form explaining no one else could do my job and being absent for a month would delay the research of many scientists for over six months. That released me from my only opportunity for jury duty.
I always have wanted to be on a jury. I have some sort of overdeveloped sense of right and wrong and so have little tolerance for dirtbags who flaunt our laws. Odds are pretty good that I will never serve on a jury.
Well much against my better judgement I rode a horse I had never rode before today. I figured all would be good with just a little walking or a slight trot but the SOB took off on a Gallup and I couldn't get the damn thing to stop. My foot was stuck in the stirrup and I knew I was going to die!
It's a good thing the Kmart Store Manager walked out and unplugged it.

I miss those horses out front of the store,,,,
Kinda makes me wish I had mom and dad's old station wagon.

:hmmm:
Many memories in our old station wagon. Thing was so tough it took 1 deer, 2 t-bone's and over 200k to put 'er out of 'er misery.

Much as i malign it, for it really is a bag of crap, the commodore has done 260,000 km. Every so often something stops working and i have to decide whether to fix it or just bypass it.
