Growing a beard

I have mixed emotions about T's beard as I worked so hard to not only hone his razors but to clean them up a bit also.

With that said, my oldest daughter operates her own beautician parlor and does very well for herself. In the last few years I've told her that if I Never Have to Work for Anyone Else Again that I'll never get another hair cut!

She just looks at me with the deer in the headlight look and says; "Great Dad, Just Great".

Last year she and her husband were at a baseball game and there was a guy about my age with grey/dark hair intermixed in a ponytail to the upper shoulder area of his back and my daughter nudged her husband and said; "There's my dad in a couple of years"!

Cud, what you didn't know about me was that I had a full beard for 40 years, and except for the chemo period, a foot long ponytail for 12 years. When I started straight razor shaving I shaved off all but a Van Dyke and six months ago I decided I'd had it with the ponytail. Had my daughter in law beautician give me a close cropping that is my easy style for my 80'. Probably be totally bald in my 90's.

Hello my mate!!!

Dont you worry Roy... The razors are safley boxed away and WILL be used again. I really would hate you to think that your hard work isnt being appreciated or admired... because it isnt. I hope you know that im greatful and wont let you down.

Right now im just doing something a little different.

Ill drop you an email over the next few days Roy for a catch up... sorry for going quiet.

I've heard that once you get to the 00 the counter is reset and the hair grows back again black and thick. We'll be expecting to see how that works on you!

I actually was thinking that, except in my case it will come back in flaming red, like my childhood.
