This wasnt a critisism of the way thbe site is managed, more a question based on guitsticks comment. I have no issue with the way the site is run, but would it be practical for only vendors from this site to cover all the costs, seeing as the advertising presumably covers the costs of hosting etc, which i realise is done by whomever provides the infrastructure for the site to run. I also assume that at some point it will become difficult for the site to be managed on a voluntary basis.

The ads don't bother me at all. This place is such a wealth of information, it is a small price to pay.

I have adblock plus which kills just about every ad you could imagine. I only get the ads when I am using SRP on my phone.

I've been seeing a lot of ads from Cassandra's Whips and Chains Emporium. Not sure why but I guess I'll click on it once in a while ... ah just to support SRP or course .....
