Wow. To be able to sing and transfer such raw emotion into every note. This is a big loss. Prayers for his family.
Another one of the few remaining talents...what a great legacy...he will be missed...loved that Mad Dog...
I'm listening to Mad Dogs and Englishmen (live at Fillmore East) right now, RIP Joe

He was from Sheffield - home of British steelmakers.
High Time we Went is my favorite.
I had the good fortune of seeing Joe Cocker, BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan in Dallas, June 1990.
A force of nature and he will be missed..
RIP Joe. He was a good musician.
I spent some of my most formative years listening to Joe.
Gone but not forgotte!n
I couldn't agree more. I used to occasionally run into him up Topanga Canyon way where he would sit at a table and drink pitcher after pitcher of beer. He would get absolutely S-faced, then get up and sing. Always AWSOME, especially when he would sing "You can leave your hat on"
He will be truly missed.
