I was always impressed with the resilience of the Australian spirit. Would it be proper to say that your skull is also resilient? A patio post of any species of wood do a job on my cranium. Get well!

To all,
yes I am ok, though I might need to go for stitches later if it doesn't stop bleeding.

The one made from 2 bits bolted together is what fell on me, each piece is 4 by 2 inch and about 9 foot long. It looks like the support at the bottom had rusted through.
It's Friday night....slightly intoxicated.
Good to hear you're OK.
As an aside, I hope you realize that you're under *no* pressure to keep upping the ante with additional conditions/injuries... I just had this image of you sitting, burned and bleeding, thinking "The sunburn was a pretty good start, and I really got it going with that post. What can I do to myself to top that...?"
Well....
i was using a chainsaw to cut a piece off of the patio (not the one that fell, a horizontal piece that connects the house and the garage). I was also worried a bit because the Conduit containing the Power for the garage was just behind where I was cutting.
Thats why I have my wife do that stuff:) great old german girl, strong like bull, twice as smart:)
'feeling alright, I'm not feeling too good myself'
Actually Ed, I was worried that you might be a victim of the domino effect and that we, as an extended family should start a fund to take care of some of your problems........me, just quoting a Dave Mason (Traffic) song made more famous by the recently late (that sounds funny) Joe Cocker.
