Just heard the Primary voting stats up to this point for the year


Percentage of Registered Democrats voting for the Presidential Candidates 11%

Percentage of Registered Republicans voting so far 17%

Record turnouts especially for Republicans

But basically about 15% of all the Registered voters in the US are going to decide who you vote for in November...

Not 15% of the Voting Public 15% of the registered voters amazing huh ??? and this year is a high percentage ***SMH***

Well, you can vote for whoever you want to, the problem isn't voting for somebody you want to, it is finding enough likeminded people to vote the same way.

This is what the political parties do - get people to agree on the same candidate, so that their collective votes can elect that candidate. I don't see anything wrong with this process and if 85% of the people choose to not take part of this pre-selection process it's certainly their right to do so.

Plus the constitution doesn't say that the people get to pick the president - each state chooses how they are going to select the electors who pick the president. People have a say only indirectly - through the way they choose to govern their state - most have ended with a simple election with a winner-take-all policy, but they certainly are free to change that any time any way.

At the end of the day if people want to elect somebody else who isn't Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton they will or would have made that choice, but they have determined those to be the two most acceptable choices. May be only 15% of the registered voters cared, but I really don't see anything fundamentally wrong with not caring and just going along with others.

I just wanted to the thank the US and A for making comedy great again. It's been a blast so far, and I think we're all going to see a lot more of it in the months to come. Fantastic.

The only downside is that my favourite political comedy shows have become the only trustworthy news sources. But that's a minor issue. Tiny. Like someone's hands.

The comments regarding a need of political experience ignore the fact that the founding fathers never intended for political office to be a profession. Many in other countries show admiration for Obama and disdain for Bush. How much difference is there. Having spent time in Iraq, I consider it a bad decision. But I consider any war other than all out a bad decision. Obama has proven very divisive for the US. I doubt Trump could be worse.
The overriding factor is many of us are voting against Hillary.

The founding fathers could never have conceived the kind of world we are living in now and the position this country has in it. Back then we were a cow town country.
