beautiful job on the guitars tab. the finish is awesome. i attempted a guitar build once, turned out ok but the finish not as good as yours. it got the intended purpose of winning a contest but not a joy to play.

Very nice and quite unique. I envy your wood working skills sir! :bow
Also, there is a recent thread about bringing a straight razor collection across the border and I would love to be there when they popped your trunk and eyeballed that sucker!
Would definitely lead to some interrogation time!! :roflmao
That grinder looks like a tank shell....
Thanks gents. Just happy it looks like some kind of shell. Restricted to 6" height with this particular hardware kit, so I knew it wouldn't be to scale. Just free styled it after googling artillery shell images for ideas of different profiles.
:beer1:
The lower chamber, for the peppercorns or rock salt if you prefer, has a s.s. shaft and ceramic grinder parts for long life and corrosion protection, the upper 'round' has an inner plastic liner that the shaft runs through, so the metal parts see very little salt I think, just the top cap while dispensing.
Been using this particular kit in various iterations for a few years now without issue. I like it because you can set and maintain a very coarse grind which is great for the bbq.
Nice work Mike. A llittle OT, but try the pink himalayan salt if you can get it up there. Haven't used sea salt since.
My next post will be to the off topic thread......
But how many layers of coticlule or Jnats are there? :rofl2:
