    Default The wife is having her third Vitrectomy surgery

    At Kaiser Hospital in San Leandro, CA for my wife's third Vitrectomy surgery and this time she is getting a gas bubble so she has to stay face down for 7 days.
    Has anyone else here had this surgery?

    Never even heard of it. Being squeemish about these things i wont google it but I will wish her the best of luck in her surgery.

    It is surgery on the retina of the eye.

    I didnt google it for a reason now my eyes feel all itchy

    Still hope the surgery goes well

    Sister-in-law had it several years ago. Had to stay on her tummy for three weeks. All turned out well.

    Hope your wife does as well.
