I'll miss it. Glad for re-runs on the web.
Garrison Keillor leaves his 'Prairie Home' after 42 yearsBe careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 3795Well, at least Tommy and Ray and Garrison had the sense to know when to quit. Sadly though, Tommy didn't have a very long "retirement." I will miss them all. I've been a fan of both shows pretty much from their inceptions.
The first time I saw Prairie Home Companion live was in 1978. I am grateful that I got to take my wife to a couple of live shows in the past couple of years so that she could see for herself what she had been hearing all this time. Both live and on the radio, the show was a unique experience that greatly will be missed.

Thanked: 995An exceptional experience in humor and fine music. Love it or hate it, Keillor had a real talent for story telling.

"It has been a quiet week in Lake Wobegone"... Garrison Keillor made a boring place interesting and I loved every minute.

I will miss this show terribly. A Sunday afternoon favorite of mine for more years than I can count. I never got to see a live performance and now it is too late.
