Our TV went out and it will be next Tuesday before they deliever and set up the new one. Reminds me of when we drove from West Tn to Tampa Florida. 50 Miles into the trip the radio went out in the car and we had to talk to each other. It wasn't good. :gth
I barely watch television, but I can see having a problem talking to people I don't care for, lol......

The rare times the electricity goes out here my son just wanders the house like a lost soul.
I told him, when I was a young lad and there was no such thing as electricity you kept busy doing your chores and they never stopped. if you had a little free time you went out and tipped some cows in the evening.

They get recorded on the PVR while I am at work and on the weeks that I am home we watch a couple every night. If we lost that it would be a bit f an interruption of our time together. I haven't used cable in over a year, all streaming. No cable, then I just work on razors. The power was out at my apartment a few months back and I was honing by flashlight! :roflmao
