Thread: Rough times are here.

Our TV went out and it will be next Tuesday before they deliever and set up the new one. Reminds me of when we drove from West Tn to Tampa Florida. 50 Miles into the trip the radio went out in the car and we had to talk to each other. It wasn't good.

I barely watch television, but I can see having a problem talking to people I don't care for, lol......

Oh it's not that i don't care for the wife. Love her to pcs. It's just that after 31 years what do you say.

My computer skills are like my photo skill. almost nonexistent. Besides that my computers speeds are to the point that i get last weeks emails tomorrow. Just a little faster than snail mail.

The rare times the electricity goes out here my son just wanders the house like a lost soul.

I told him, when I was a young lad and there was no such thing as electricity you kept busy doing your chores and they never stopped. if you had a little free time you went out and tipped some cows in the evening.

I remember the time I walked down to the Appian Way cause Julius Caesar was going by. He asked me how I had time to gawk at him and I said some smart a** thing to him and next thing I know I'm in the army.

Know what you mean. When i was swabbing the deck for Noah it seemed I would never get through. All those animals.

After 24 years of living with my wife one of the things we like to do is snuggle up on the couch and watch certain TV shows. They get recorded on the PVR while I am at work and on the weeks that I am home we watch a couple every night. If we lost that it would be a bit f an interruption of our time together. The we run out of TV we usually just retreat to solitary projects.

I don't know how it is with other folks but for us after all these years we finish each others sentences some times before we start them. If nothing else I'll fire up the grill and call the kids.
