Today we went to the school where my daughter will attend preschool in half a year. Today was an open day so we went to have a look.

We met a woman who was there with her 2.5 year old son. He was born a month too soon, but there was something else wrong with the kid too. I couldn't really put my finger on it, but his eyes looked as if he was dreaming, and his movements were a bit uncertain. He also didn't speak yet.

Anyway, we chatted a bit near the carrousel where my daughter was spending all our coupons while the other kid was holding one of the speakers and moving to the rythm of the music. Our kids were in the same age category so there was a big chance they'd end up in the same class.

After awhile the woman told her kid they were going home, so I told my daughter to give the kid a kiss.
She went up to him hugged him, gave him a kiss and then shook his hands.

The boy stood there, completely overwhelmed. His mother was happy too. She told us that it does not happen often that other kids are nice to him...
I was really proud of my daughter then.
