Yes, another important link in the misandry and virtue signalling that currently plagues Western Civilization, where we have a councillor being investigated here by the RCMP for a 12 second video he posted about a "Chinese Fire Drill" and is being pilloried by the Thought Police. Hopefully, our dictator admiring Prime Minister "Shiny Pony" Justin, who is currently trying again to push through new rules of Parliament that would give him unrivalled powers, will be back to teaching Yoga and Drama in another couple of years and the adults can get back to running the country.

In his latest attempt, a member of the opposition reminded them, that if they want to push these new rules through with their super majority, just remember, in a few short years, you may be facing O'Leary or another member of the Opposition....reminiscent of the smart move by the Democrats on the "nuclear" option.:-)

Unfortunately, this is what is happening to Universities all over Western society, the pseudo-academics in Feminism, Cultural Studies, and other bogus academics of the victim business are taking over...calling all those who disagree with them "fascists", while never quite grasping they're shouting that into a mirror...sad state of affairs indeed...the attack on men is still alive and thriving.

True, but you may be "accused" of sexual assault, and whether guilty or not, you will have your life destroyed, even if you are completely, 100% innocent....

@Phrank -- Well said, compadre. No wonder I preferred the hard sciences in college; they taught ideas based on tested theorems, proofs, etc. while strictly avoiding faery tales like this.

Yeah, let's criminalize the entire male gender for the awful violence exhibited by a small minority of the male population. Let's face it, none of us guys has any control of our own masculinity poisoned by testosterone. Masculine = bad, and feminine = good, got it?

Yea, the other side of that coin is that if, God forbid, a sexual assault happens to a female member of your immediate family you will almost certainly look at the accused as guilty come hell or high water. Not to mention that during any trial the mud your female relative will be dragged through while the defense tries to impugn her reputation.

One thing for sure is that you never want to the accused or the victim in these cases.

So what is new? Harper ran it that way, my way or that highway, for his whole time in power. Nothing has changed only the actors in the play.

As for fascists, there is enough of them to go around on all sides of the equation leaving very few in the middle on common ground. I think we could do with a little less polarization over a lot of issues that need to be solved but can't if we wind up backed up into our own corners calling the other side fascists or other some such name.

This is common fodder in divorce/child custody court. The accusation is all that is needed and there is no way to prove what you did not do.

But violence against women, or any other human isn't the answer. It does happen, but you have to protect yourself. Against women is totally unacceptable and a true man would never do that.

As to accusations and things considered "sexual assault", many of them are beyond assault.
Do you realize if your taking a piss behind a tree, and a woman sees you and is offended by this you could be charged with that.

Reading what you fellas in Canada are saying, it seems that it's not just here in the States. Humanity is becoming a weaker species all around.
I personally don't get offended easily, and if I do I don't need a quite room with fuzzy bunnies and soft music. I man up and deal with it personally. Not saying I make a retaliatory action, but consider if I should have been offended at all. And respect the persons rights who "offended" me.
