Default Anyone interested in Belgian Stuff like chocolate or waffles or such?

After last night's posts about teasing the Americans with descriptions of food stuffs they cannot buy, I started thinking.

Maybe I could sell typical Belgian stuff like chocolate or waffles and things like that at slightly above store prices.
Belgian chocolate costs very little over here (here being Belgium we buy it by the kilo ) whereas it costs 3-5 times as much in our national airports, and up to 10 times as much or more in the USA.

If people are interested I'll work something out.
I'd do Belgian beers as well, but I don't know if it is legal for me to ship small amounts of beer to the USA. If it is, I will gladly send over some of the best beers on the world. If it isn't that scratch that because I want to visit the states again and I don't want to be in hot water over something like this.

Hey Bruno! Do look into it! I've got an anniversary coming up and sending off to a buddy in Belgium just for Chocolate is the kind of effort she appreciates.

haha. I've long suspected that. I've your country and really enjoyed it. As an art fan, Amsterdam and Den Hague were very good.

In Amsterdam, I also wished that I had visited when I was younger and single. SOme of your shopping was very enjoyable. (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)

But, the beer, waffles, chocolate etc were top quality.

I've suspected that France also sends the "seconds" of their wine for export. Every glass of wine in France was wonderful, no matter how inexpensive. It's also that the fun of traveling makes the wine taste better.

You DO know that serving snails in a restaurant is the longest standing practical joke in the history of France, do you?

It all started with the foreigner who wouldn't take a hint...

I like Kwak beer. Nothing like a manly pint of beer served up in ancient laboratory equipment after a long hard coach journey.

Do they sell the Kwak 'glasses' separately?

LOVE Belgian waffles and beer. There is one beer that I had when I visited twice, Hooengarten(SP?). Fantastic beer, drank it almost the whole time I was there.
