Boy! We could be here for two years! Rest in Peace, Roy!
I've watched many of this guys 'analysis' of different guitar players and he's always pointing how 'Why' they are so great. In this one he points out how Roy Clark is making these silly/stupid facial expressions and he points out that it's because Roy is so great that he can. He will also point out how heavy metal bands use many of the same techniques as he was all those years ago.
I hope all will enjoy:

If it had strings, Roy Clark could play, and usually better than most others. It would not surprise me to learn that, upon his arrival in the celestial firmament, he picked up a harp and was playing better than 95% of the choir invisible.
I love to plug my headphones into my Blackstar 5watt tube,, plug my American Standard (fender strat) in the other jack, turn volume up, maybe fire one up :), and procede to jam out some heavy blues and all stresses just fade away for awhile.. I love to play the guitar and listen to LOTS of different kinds of music.. Now i remember Roy Clark and Buck Owens on HeeHaw as a kid, never knowing the musical genius they both were... That changed a number of years later after getting my 1st guitar. It did not take me long to realize what an absolute jaw dropping guitar player Roy Clark was!! And i was about %100 Rock back then.. To this day i still get goose bumps when i youtube Roy Clark and listen to that dude play guitar and banjo... He will be missed but he had a good run and i for one will keep his music alive n kicking.. RIP Mr Clark.. Scott W
