RIP Roy Clark
A legend of country music passed on today. My Dad used to say that Roy Clark could play anything with strings, that he could put a rubber band on a shoe box and make it sound good. And by all accounts, he was a gentleman too. Here's one of my favorites by him:
And another one that better showcases his guitar wizardry:

amazing musician, who could pretend to be the fool...very self-deprecating man, given his abilities. I watched Ricky Skaggs last night and thought, "how can fingers move that fast and make music..." Feel the same way about Mr. Clark. We'll miss him! Stick with the video

Man. The guy was a musical genius. Glen Campbell a few months back. These guys/gals are not being replaced, I think?
Big loss. He was an actor and a musician and a friend. Above all, a fine man seemingly beyond reproach.

I hadn't heard but it is sad news indeed. Here's a clip that I've posted before to show that he wasn't just a 'country music player'.
