    Default California Burning

Here in Sonoma County, Northern California, there are 3 major wildland fires
burning in the area. This is what the morning light looked like, out my back door
at 9am: a dull reddish smoke haze, thanks to a prolonged temperature inversion.

Same thing in the Central Valley area. With falling ash it looks like a post apocalyptic movie scene.

It was dark enough this afternoon (4:30) that my night headlights turned on. I really limit any time outdoors to keep my eyes from burning. The air quality is crazy bad.

Be safe guys. Fires are.scary stuff. One year we had snow falling if falling ash. At least we have a fair amount of water here to slow it down. Prayers your way.

Hopefully they can get on top of it quickly.
I can remember the beginning of this year when most of our east coast was in flames for around 3 months.
    This extreme weather sucks.

I saw a map last night of all the fires burning in the western US—it’s crazy. 2020 is the gift that keeps on giving. Good luck and stay safe.

    A serial arsonist?

I wonder how many of these fires were set by crazy people. You do have to discount the gender reveaL kooks.
