    Default Finally rain

After a long dry spell this summer that left the grass brown we are getting a decent amount of rain and the grass is greening up. Forest fire season in the province is slowly winding down and the rain has helped there too. So far this year Ontario has lost 770,000 Hectares/1,925,000 Acres of forests to fire. Worst forest fire season in years.

Good to hear, we need some of that down here before the lightning and wind really starts to pick up.

Happy for you. Hope rain comes to us as well. We need it so much here. Unfortunately, they say that we will experience floods when rain comes due to extensive fires during summer and damage to large forests.

Glad you are seeing some moisture. If you have any extra, send some our way.

What a world, we were burning up and you were getting flooded out. Truly strange weather this year.

Went thru a month or so of no rain, had the irrigation going full time, but the last month, they haven’t turned on, surprising we haven’t had more though, with two storms in the last 3 weeks in the gulf, we usually get hammered, but it’s just been good soaking rains

Glad you've gotten some Bob. I wish I could have sent you some of our residual. It's hard to think of it that way but forests aren't destroyed by fire they are maintained/renewed. It's actually good for forest but really bad for people.
