Employment ideas

After reading the post by strapped-4-cache, and having a similiar situation myself, and knowing there are most likely others out there in similiar boats, I am hoping someone out there can offer up some info.
Does anyone know of any LEGITIMATE jobs that can be done online or from home.
I know some companies that use Customer Service reps that way, I found one that was hiring but they were looking for someone based in Phoenix.
My wife heard about a "phone actress" job but figured she'd laugh too hard to be able to deal with that.
I have an email account stuffed with scam offers, If I send only 79.95 all my financial worries are over..yea right and please dont get me started with the answering surveys scam.
With all the different lines of work people here do, I'm hoping that a few may have some ideas. If you dont want it to be public please pm me with the info and I will share it only with those you want me to.

We're using this site to look into some of the more valid work-from-home opportunities. Hopefully this will allow my wife to stay at home to meet the need of our girls instead of sending them to the no-holds-barred daycare after school each day.

Hopefully you'll find something on the site I listed or another (send me a link if you find another) and get more income rolling in.

Take off the first http:// in the window that just opened ... vbulletin automatically populates the inert link dialogue box with "http://" and it is easy to not remove this when pasting in the link.

Not a problem, hopefully we can all help each other out.
My wife looked at alpines access, the first on your list and it looked to be a very good company. The only issue was that they only had local access numbers in all different locales, and the closest to us was Phoenix so it wouldn't work. If they have local access near you they seemed to be very reputable.

There are a bunch of Freelancing websites on the web that can help you get contract work. They are largely techie, but www.getafreelancer.com has some non technical sides, as does www.elance.com

My wife has looked into becoming a freelance writer so that she can work from home too.
