does anyone have an interest in the legend of Beowulf? i've seen a few beowulf movies and each one in there own way manages to mess it up and i've been waiting for a version to come out that stays true to the original epic. I'd heard awhile ago that there was a new remake coming out and i thought "could this be the one?!" but now i just watched the trailer for the first time and the only thought that occured to me was "WTF!!! i didn't think it was possible to screw it up that much"
i'll still probably watch it at some point just to see how bad it is
on a side note, it looks like theres gonna be a new indiana jones movie. Indiana jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
I don't know...you may not relate, but the original "Manchurian Candidate" is my vote!
Not the recent one, but the black and white with Frank Sinatra! Every time I look around I see the possibilities!
The 13th Warrior wasn't a bad interpretation of Beowulf as far as action movies go but it wasn't really scary. Got me interested in the remake though.
The original "Omen" (scary kid....) and "28 Days Later"...very disturbing, very unsettling.
How about "Fallen" with Denzel Washington
The Sound of Music.
Doe, a deer, a female deer.
Ray, a drop of golden sun.
Me, a name I call myself.
Far, a long long way to run.
Brown paper bags all tied up in strings,
these are a few of my favorite things..
I was scared i would never got those damn songs out of my head.
They WILL be stuck in your head all day.
I always loved the old black and white Universal Studios monsters. You know - all the originals - Dracula, Frankenstein, Invisible Man, Mummy, Wolfman, etc. Scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. Of course they seem pretty tame by today's standards, but I still love watching them, and of course I will make sure that my kids enjoy them as well.
