Danish ( My mother is Danish and I was born/raised here. Due to how similar Norwegian and Swedish is to Danish I can converse with them as well)
Some Arabic (My dad is from Jordan)
Deutsch lessons for 6 years - Really only average at it, but I could survive in Germany
And last but not least, from fifth grade and all the way through the system into the university as, an English student. (I'm a very big fan of the Petrarchan conceit).

I second that. Also try "What do you have in your fanny pack?" in the UK and see what kind of reaction you get!

My native language is French... I have a quite good knowledge of English, a basic one of German and Italian, and some rudiment of Chinese. I can read Latin and I have some knowledge of ancient Greek too. Just a thought... Maybe I spent too many years on a school bench.

    English.

Spent 5 years living in Geneva, so I picked up a bit of survival French while I was there. My spoken French is probably about the level of a 2 year old child, but that was enough to get a surprising number of things done.

I guess since I was born in the US my native language is English.

I'm quite fluent in Cantonese and Toyshanese just don't ask me to read or write it.

I can barely get by on mandarin and spanish.

    Default This and that.

I speak English, am fluent in Spanish (or at least that's what other people tell me, I still want to improve a lot), proficient in Brazilian Portuguese, a wee bit of French from 12th grade, three phrases or maybe two... in Chinese, and a handful of modern hebrew, more bibiical Hebrew. Oh and one phrase in hmong, and one in thai.
