Mom has a new ride
My mom used to ride a scooter when she was a teenager, and always wanted a real bike. After I got my Fizzer6, she decided to get one as well. Took a while to get something for $2000 or less, that she would be able to cruise with at 130-140 with plenty to spare, a relatively upright riding position (she doesn't like leaning forwards or riding a cruiser) and in a good mechanical shape. This FJ6 came highly recommended by Ken (my mechanic), so we put a downer on it after taking a look at it.
P.S. I finally got to ride a bike after a long period of hibernation

85, but low mileage (like 22,000km/15,000mi). Here's the history of the vehicle:
1) Guy that got caught going 100kmph/60mph over the limit and lost his licence almost as soon as he got the bike.
2) Car dealership employee with very little spare time
3) Car dealership employee with very little spare time
4) Mom
In addition to their professional and family obligations, Ontario's riding season is very short and bikes are garaged during winter, so the resale values are very high. The other alternative would have been a naked SV650 for about $6000.

LOL, I read your post, you mom and a bike that will go 130-140. I thought My GOD you mom likes to ride fast. I will roll 150 now and then but 130 on a regular basis? Then I realized it was KPH not MPH.

Lol yeah.. This one will get'er up to 110-115 but for cruising, it's more like the 80mph range (without attracting too much negative attention from uniformed tax collectors).
