For those of you who love Martial Arts
Hello everyone, I received this link from a buddy of mine.
I've practiced Taekwondo for about 3.5 years now, and have also done some BJJ.
Absolutely fascinated with the arts...so, I hope this is appropriate to share. If it's not, I apologize in advance and feel free to remove this post:

Thanked: 0Thanks for the link. (No seriously, even after reading the rest of my comments, thanks.)
IMHO, a totally unacceptable use of martial arts. Okay, I can understand that the guy is upset because his little brother was beat up. But what we've just seen is nothing short of criminal assault. I could see one or two blows being okay if actually interrupting the attack on his little brother, but the other guy is just standing there with his hands in his pockets. It's time to NOT take matter into your own hands, and call the cops.
If I tried a stunt like that, I'd be kicked out of my Dojo faster than you can say 'but Sensei ...'

Thanked: 13249Hmmmmmm
Being a martial arts instructor and practitioner for almost 37 years, this video turns my stomach on two levels.
One, totally excessive force being used here....... "IF" it's real
Two, From personal experience in the ring, and in the street (25 years of owning and running large Nightclubs) I have never seen a direct kick to the head fail to knock someone out... therefore I tend to believe that this video might be staged and the kicks are being pulled...
This of course is JMHO
On the flip side that was a very pretty spinning back kickexcept the slip and fall....

Haha...Glen, I absolutely agree, bit of excessive force and a nice little slip...but nonetheless if it is real...he got some good contact on that first kick...the poor kids head bounced like 3 times after the kick...I don't support what he did...I just wanted to share an interesting clip
the guy is a bit sadistic when he starts playing around with the kid...but, what can you say (shrug)Last edited by Sarty24; 04-11-2008 at 06:56 PM.

It kinda looks staged, but pretty cool nonetheless. He did go too far I thought, but I wasn't there and don't know the circumstances. Maybe he was being a little sadistic, but on the flipside perhaps the kid had it coming.

Those double kicks cant be that powerful. Well the first of the double cant be.
Cant help but feel its staged lol. Once he made the first kick it was like he ran over to see if he was ok.

Thanked: 4I wasn't able to see the video (the link seems to have dissappeared), but I have been kicked in the head...clean, in the ring (cage actually). I shrugged it off and kept fighting.
I think I've got a decent chin but some guy's are just gnarly...take Mark Hunt for example...ate a Crocop left high kick, and popped right back up like it was nothing. Some guys are just really, really hard to knock out.
