I have no clue what this is about. A book, a movie?
The Dark Knight is the new Batman movie that just came out yesterday. I plan on seeing it today, but from the people that went to the midnight show it was incredible.
Just saw it earlier.
All of those Tim Burton movies with various Bruce Waynes - what a waste of time and money. This is what Batman is supposed to look like.
I won't spoil the movie, but i will say this: right now, jack nicholson is sitting at home, after having seen the film, bawling his eyes out because he knows that he will henceforth be remebered as "that other, crappy Joker"
one of the best films I have seen in years. one of the best plots i have seen in a movie, EVER. this one's not all fight scenes like the last one, there is some pretty thoughtful stuff going on.
I've been a Batman fan for over 35 years so I quite liked it myself. Heath's Joker is truly frightening, a quality I have never actually seen in him except for a few graphic novels. I give it the thumbs up.

While I do agree that Heath did a great job, I kinda pretended that Jack was playing the role. And you know what, it worked. If Jack was younger, that could very well have been him. I'm trying to say this without giving anything away...but if you watched the movie, there was no way to know it wasn't Jack (or that it was Heath).
I did not enjoy the movie. Still not fully sure why, but I think it was too long and i left the theater exhausted. could have been 30 min shorter. Joker was good, but I wish they would have given the back story, also he sounded like Nixon at times. I enjoy the charachter two face, I just hated the CGI face, i think it would have been better with like third degree burns. Batmans voice has bothered me since the batman begins. I mean why does he have to change his voice? It is not like he is a radio anouncer and everyone knows his voice. He sounded like he was trying to poop but had a brick blocking him.
