The US cried out for a free Kosovo (populated by 90% ethnic Albanians moved there under Tito during the last century...there is no Albainian cultural tie to Kosovo) thumbing its nose at Serbia. Kosovo is to Serbia as Gettysburg or Lexingoton/Concord are to the US.)...then, when the Abkaz and South Ossetians demanded independence (and they actually have ties to the country), Georgia went in with tanks and artillery to take the areas back (as the Serbs did with Kosovo). Russia went in and handed the Georgians their ass on a plate...and the US cried foul (as Russia did with US support for Kosovo). Same situation, same players, different sides. So, all I see is more hypocrisy out of Washington.

I still want to know how long it took the White House staff to explain the Atlanta was not in danger, when news broke about the Russians entering Georgia.....
