Default anyone have a Ripstik or tried one?

has anyone tried a ripstik or caster board as i really want to get one. i am not a big skateboarder but i do like things that are unique and fun and promote ballance. i wouldn't really want to do tricks on it, it would be more like when i ride my unicycle, fun and keeps me on my toes. here is a pic

My daughters have Ripstiks, as do several of their friends. After a little learning curve they are pretty good on them and, I must say, it looks like fun. They come with a DVD that gives you the basics. The alternating foot pedaling looks a little odd, but keeps you going on a flat surface or going uphill. Give it a try.

My boys have them as well. As above, a short learning curve but they seem to be much more interesting to ride than a skate board. More exercise too.

Might I say, fun or not, anyone over 13 riding them looks plain ridiculous. All you do is shake your ass and hope for the best
