A horse is tied to 15 feet of rope, there is a bail of hay 25 feet away from the horse. the horse goes over to the hay and starts eating, how?

The rope is tied to a pole 10 feet from the bail of hay. The rope was originally fully extended, away from the bail of hay. 10+15 is 25, hence it's perfectly possible that the horse was 25 feet out of range, but could get to the hay without problems.

That took me more than 10 characters.
