    Default Lest We Forget

    I do not know why, but this afternoon I was thinking of war and the brave men and women who go off to war. I guess you do not have to wait for Remembrance day or ANZAC day or whatever to honour those people and remember them.

    Anyway, a song from my childhood suddenly popped into my head. I just wanted to share this with you guys.

    I actually had that record as a kid. Didn't appreciate the meaning of it at that age of course.

    This song always got to me although I never thought of it as an anti-war song. You really have to listen to the lyrics.
    (Not saying this is an anti-war thread, more of showing gratitude to those who've fought on our behalf.)
