How about tools for making knives? I don't know that there's a knife/sword made that I would be comfortable blowing $900 on. Maybe several, but not just one!
Yup, I'm excited for my custom coming in sometime this year!:D:D
A long time in the making, but completely worth it. As for the 900 though, you can only buy a knife with that. LOL. His swords aren't cheap, so don't go bugging him unless your really really serious.
I'd get a Hinderer XM-18 & have plenty of change. My imagination on knives just can't stretch to $900!

If i went crazy i could get two. Different colours to suit my shoes maybe!
Tough question. I think I'd just buy a whole bunch of damascus and make them myself untill I was satisfied with the final product....which would probably never happen. But for $900 I can buy quite a bit damascus.
If I had to buy a finished knife I'd buy a William Henry I think. Or a RockStead. I think they're the ultimate user folders.
ROCKSTEAD. ISHIDA INDUSTRIAL Co., Ltd zdp steel, rockwell 67 (!!!!!!) tough as nails. The guy that makes them does cutting tests at knifeshows and believe me they can take the abuse. (He's this Mr. Miyagi type little japanese guy that hardly speaks english and just radiates trustworthiness)
Funny question. I save up 1 and 2 euro coins every week, with the idea that I can buy something horribly expensive without having to feel guilty. But my ideas change over time, so I never actually buy anything really expensive.
At this very moment, if I had that money as pure spending money, it'd be a quality iaito for solo sword practise when I get to that stage of my training:

Before that, it would look really pretty on the wall. Not to mention that in 12 years time, it would be visible on the living room wall for all potential boyfriends to think about before they think about trying to get their filthy hands on one of my daughters :medvl:
